Funding

Geronimo is a registered NDIS provider, supporting participants with agency-managed, plan-managed, and self-managed funding. We work closely with participants and their families to ensure supports are flexible, transparent, and tailored to individual goals under the NDIS.

Geronimo welcomes private-paying referrals for occupational therapy services. We offer flexible, personalised support for individuals and families seeking ongoing support or one off assessments. You may be eligible for a rebate through Medicare or your private heath fund. 

Please note, we require upfront payment, after which you can claim any eligible rebates.

Geronimo therapists are registered with Medicare. To claim a medicare rebate, you will need to have a referral for one of the below medicare programs, from your GP or Paediatrician. Please note, Geronimo charges a gap fee. 

Geronimo can provide services through the following medicare programs:

• M3 – Allied Health Services for Chronic Disease Management

• M10 – Complex Neurodevelopmental Disorder (such as Autism Spectrum Disorder) and Eligible Disability Services (formerly known as Autism, Pervasive Developmental Disorder or Disability Services and the Better Start and Helping Children with Autism programs) 

Occupational therapy services may be eligible for a rebate through your private health extras cover, depending on your individual policy. Please note that private health rebates generally cover only part of the session fee, and an out-of-pocket cost will apply.
