Jay Debrincat

 

Occupational Therapist

Jay is an Occupational Therapist who is extremely passionate about working with youth to achieve their goals. Jay is particularly interested in the development of gross motor movements, fine motor movements, and the development of essential independence skills to thrive within the community.

Jay has a background in working with youth as a Basketball Coach for Hoppers Crossing Tigers in which he engages with a variety of personalities and creates goals and strategies to build teamwork, develop key skills, and achieve their personal goals.

Outside of work, Jay regularly engages in sport by playing and coaching Basketball, playing video games such as Call of Duty and NBA2k. Jay also enjoys spending time with friends and family.

Jay has completed a range of professional development including:

  • Introduction to Neurodiversity Affirming Practice - Onwards and Upwards Psychology

 Qualifications:

Jay has completed a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy at Deakin University.
