Therapy Assistants
Therapy Assistants are a great resource for participants needing a higher frequency of repetition or support outside of their Occupational Therapy sessions.
Our team of Therapy Assistants work collaboratively with your Occupational Therapist to develop a skill development program based on your goals.

You can ask your OT if you have a specific goal that you think could be supported with the addition of a Therapy Assistant.
Common goals that are worked on with a Therapy Assistant are goals related to independent living skills. For example; cooking, kitchen saftey, shopping, accessing the community, household talks & transport training.

Currently our Therapy Assistant program is only offered at Geronimo in Geelong.

Current participants of Geronimo Geelong can access a Therapy Assistant. If you would like to learn more about the program, contact your Support Coordinator or Occupational Therapist.
