We are excited to announce that Geelong’s innovative skill development provider has now joined your local community too!
Geronimo OT provide capacity-building supports for young people with additional needs - supporting them to live more independently and be able to take advantage of more opportunities into their adulthood.
Your local Occupational Therapist and skill-development workers can assess a young person’s skills and develop programs they can follow to achieve their goals.
We’re the link between where you are now, and where you want to be
In the past we have supported young people to be more:
Independent around the home
Confidently use public transport
Increase self-care skills
Better understand emotions and sensory input
Achieve workplace employability skills
Meet your Local Occupational Therapist:
Briony Grant | Occupational Therapist (Melbourne West)
Hello City of Maribynong and City of Hobsons Bay! My name is Briony and I’m an experienced Occupational Therapist who is passionate about supporting young people who have a disability. I worked at Geronimo while studying at university, and assisting young people to achieve their goals sparked my interest to work in Disability Services. I knew that once I was a qualified OT Geronimo was the service I wanted to be part of! A bit about me – I like going for brunch on the weekends with friends and family, I love to travel and am crazy about my little toy poodle, Mike. I currently work every Tuesday and Wednesday at Geronimo, as I also work part-time as an Occupational Therapist in aged care. I am excited to assist in expanding Geronimo Occupational Therapy to Melbourne’s Western Suburbs. ‘Take the leap’ City of Maribyrnong and City of Hobson’s Bay!
